Micromax Bolt A40 with 4.5 TFT TouchScreen is now Officially Launched
Micromax Bolt A40 is the new addition into the Micromax budget android phones. It has just been listed on the company website, but Micromax has not unveiled the price. We already have four Bolt series phone naming Bolt A26, Bolt A34, Bolt A51 and Bolt A35. Bolt A40 comes with a 4.5-inch screen with android 2.3 also known as Gingerbread. It is a dual SIM Android phone which supports only GSM networks.

Bolt A40 has a 2 MP primary camera and a 0.3-megapixel secondary camera. It disappoints in terms of internal memory as it is only 512 MB, but it can be waved off as it can be expanded to 32GB. Another drawback is that, it does not have the 3G connectivity.
Recently Micromax also launched two new android phones Canvas Fun A74 and Canvas Fun A76 in the range of 8000 rupees. Micromax canvas a74 is a 3G enabled android phone.

Bolt A40 seems like a good entry level android phone. Even though the price is not officially confirmed, but we can expect the price within the range of 5000 rupees.
